Clash to claim authority over temple -- thero unconscious for 4 months, dies from blow received!

A dispute has arisen between two theros over authority regarding temple and to settle the conflict have visited the judicial incumbent sanghanayaka of Wadduwa Samudrarama Vihara and on an exchange of blows supposed to have taken place there, one of the theros had died. 

The other thero was produced before court in connection with this incident and was ordered by Mr.
Chandana Kalansuriya, Panadura additional magistrate to be sent to remand prison to be detained there till next 27th. The thero so detained is viharadhipathi of Payagala, Gomarakanda, Samanakkanda, Wattala Amaravansha thero. 

Ubhaya maha viharadhipathi, retired parivenadhipathi panditha Prabhasgoda Vijithananda nayaka thero of Dodamgoda, Halkandawila, Millagasudumulla Sri Dharmapala Yogashramaya and Dadagahahena Sri Rahula Sangharaja Yogashramaya remained in an unconscious state from the date this incident took place (August 15, 2017), passed away last week. 

The suspect thero had been produced before court on a previous occasion in connection with an incident of dealing blows and causing hurt and was released on bail. This suspect thero was informed to be present at police after the injured thero passed away. Under such circumstances, the suspect thero has appeared in police day before yesterday (16) with attorney at law Mr. M.G. Wijepala. The suspect thero was produced before is to be remanded till next 27th under orders of Panadura acting magistrate Mr. Chandana Kalansooriya.
