A spokesman of Mr. Mangala Samaraweera, former minister of United National Party has mentioned that there is no truth about the stories circulating that he is saying goodbye to politics and subsequently migrating to reside in a South American country. 

"These days various false news about former minister Mangala Samaraweera is bidding goodbye to
politics is floating around. Even from the days Mr. Mangala stepped into politics, he was involved in principled politics; that is something that even anybody in the opposition would admit. He of course had decided to take leave of parliamentary politics. Can't say whether it would change in future. Mangala Samaraweera means a political organism".
