10 year jail sentence for two members of rugger team who sexually molested 6 year old student of boys' school in Colombo!

Colombo high court judge Mr. Vikum Kaluaarachchi two members of the rugger team of a leading school in Colombo for having seriously sexually abused a six and a half under-aged boy of the same school who incidentally was remaining back for gymnastics. 

These accused were found guilty 5 years before this for having committed a grave sexual crime in the

school and were subjected to punishment in this manner being ordered to make a compensation of Rs. one lakh each. The attorney general had accused the first accused for having sexually molested a minor on a date in November in the year 2014 and the second accused as having aided and abetted in the incident.

Subsequent to an elaborate trial, the judge said that all accusations against the accused were proved beyond any doubt and thus had meted out the judgement concerned. Apart from this, the judge further ordered a fine of Rs. 25,000/- each and also ordered that if the said fine and compensation were not settled, a further punishment of 43 months was ordered thereby.
