Nicab -- prohibition of Burka ... out

As a result of the Easter attack launched by Muslim terrorists during the past period a situation of insecurity prevailed in the country and with a suggestion moved by Muslim representatives a prohibition to cover faces of the women was activated. Reports were published those days that there is a possibility that terrorists were able to to move around countries that have enforced such laws in the world.

In any case after these laws and regulations of prohibition were enforced were enforced under the

emergency, the attention of the public was not focused upon. Police headquarters have by now announced that the law of enforcing rules and regulations concerning covering the face and Nicab - Burka is no longer in force.

Police headquarters has made an announcement in this connection in response to a letter directed by inspector of police,  Mr. M.H. A. Haleem. It is stated hereby in the letter forwarded to Mr. M.H.M. Haleem by deputy inspector general of police Mr. Ajith Rohana and is seen below
