Signs that death penalty will definitely be imposed -- receives cabinet approval -- death to Easter attackers too

After President Maithripala Sirisena expressing ideas that the death penalty is to be once again enforced, it was reported that resistance was launched by countries including the UNP and non-governmental organisations, United Nations Organisation, England and America. Whatever it is, what is reported now is that the cabinet has given consent to the decision taken by the President to enforce the death penalty. Minister Arjuna anatuna has revealed
information about this at Mirigama. 

What was reported so far is that death penalty is enforced against leading narcotics racketeers; but President has stated at a function held at Eleda Raja Maha Vihara yesterday that everybody connected to the Easter attack have been taken into custody and that inquiries are underway continuously about them and as there is clear evidence against them, they come under the death penalty according to the long arm of the law.
