Kanjipani Imran, an underground kingpin who was arrested after bring expelled from Dubai is at the moment under custody of Colombo Crime Division and when being subjected to interrogation detained at a highly strictly guarded cell in ports premises of Colombo has revealed a plethora of information hitherto not exposed. 

"When Madush aiyya was organising the party I told him, 'don't do that!' ... since we are having problems, we'll be on our own. But ayya din't listen to it. What he wanted to do was show his
pomposity", Imran has confessed to police, it is reported. Kanjipani has revealed that day that Madush was overjoyed as the media was reporting about him and that he was motivated towards further criminal activities through such news. 

In the process much information including names and addresses of politicians as well as those of higher ranks of police were revealed. He also has expressed that Madush has had many businesses to his credit and among those businesses was a tourist hotel in the south. Kanjipani Imran has remarked that the said hotel is being carried on under somebody else's name. A number of lands belonging to Madush is available all over the country and he has started a business of selling property. A rent-a-car service too has been launched by Madush and has further exposed problems that have cropped up in that connection. 

It was revealed at interrogation that Kanjipani Imran, justas much as Madush is in possession of many a property in the city of Colombo and has had intimate relationships with several politicians and some officers of varying ranks in police. Kanjipani Imran has spoken to several OICs over the telephone and has threatened them with death and when questioned about it what he has responded was by saying he threatened not police officers of integrity but officers who got together with his rival underground gangs. 

Kanjipani Imran has revealed that it was he who got down Makandure Madush to Dubai in the year 2015 and even prepared investment visa for him to remain  in that country, when being questioned. It was further revealed that Madush and his accomplices have witnessed 'live' from Dubai how the person who beheaded Rizkhan, a bosom friend of Kanjipani Imran who incidentally appeared as the proprietor of the rent-a-car service 'Drop me' which was begun by investing Madush's funds. 

"Rizkhan was an innocent man. When starting 'Drop me' under that person's name I told Madush ayya not to get him involved in this work ... but he didn't listen. Ultimately what happened? In order to hurt Madush, Rizkhan was shot dead. Rizkhan was killed by Gotha Asanka. He had an issue with us ... for having killed Samayan. It is Gotha Asanka who has now taken the place of Samayan. 

When I came to know that Rizkhan was murdered ... I had a clash with Madush ayya ... for having let him be killed. That moment Madush ayya told me, 'You don't be sad ... I'll take revenge from them. He even said that before one week elapses, I'll get the head of the fellow who killed Rizkhan and have it leave it at the very spot where Rizkhan was killed. That very same manner Madush ayya kept his word. That whole week I didn't speak to Madush ayya. I do not know how he managed to get at Kos malli who killed Rizkhan. Madush ayya took a video call and spoke with Kos malli. Kos malli was tied to a tree. He even told Kos malli, 'Now you will be beheaded and killed'. Finally, just as it was told, his neck was detached from the body and dumped near Rizkhan's house. How the neck was severed ...
