Inquiries over calls-content of Namal, Wimal, Shashi with Indian national amidst Namal Kumara confusion

The Criminal Investigation Department informed court yesterday (16) that parliamentarian Mr. Wimal Weeravansha, his wife and member of parliament Mr. Namal Rajapaksa will be summoned to get statements in connection with telephone conversations with the Indian national who is presently in remand in respect of the coup to assassinate President Maithripala Sirisena and former Defence Minister, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. This was informed when court hearing was held in the presence of Colombo Fort Magistrate Mr. Priyantha
Liyanage in connection with the extended ministerial investigation connected to this incident. 

A suspicion has cropped up about dialogues that had taken place between Wimal, Shashi, Namal and Indian national Marziel Thomas, the first accused in this incident. Indian national Marziel Thomas and former Deputy Inspector General of Police, Nalaka de Silva are by now under remand custody. 

Voice cuts of telephone conversations carried on between Namal Kumara and Inspector General of Police were sent to government analyst which incidentally was secured under court orders while obtaining voice cut samples of inspector general of police was checked in the presence of government analyst last 14th. Statements made by petitioner of this case Namal Kumara across various media briefings from the period September 11th to January 4th this year has been called forth under court order and staging further statements in that manner has been blocked by court. 

What Attorney at Law, Mr. Ajith Pathirana was that Namal Kumara has forwarded false certificates to Air Force, the Tri-forces and to another private institution as well. He then questioned as to why this person called Namal Kumara who is involved in this conspiracy is not taken into custody. It has been revealed through the said voice cuts as for what reason Wimal, Shashi and Namal had those telephone conversations with the Indian national and in future it will be exposed.
