Though Ranil Wickremasingha was to take his oaths yesterday Sunday the16th at 11.16 in the morning, the President has on purpose arrived late on purpose and has thus changed the auspicious time and consequently Ranil was sworn in at an inauspicious time which is 11.24, a rumour has scattered across the social network. As a result of this, ideas were expressed that future activities of Prime Minister would turn out to be unfortunate. 

The fact that this further goes to confirm that the manner in which President Maithri spoke against
Ranil after the latter took his oaths by displaying this same type of comportment. Whether this story is true or not, irrespective of believing in Astrology or not has created a curiosity in all of them. 

Whatever it is, competent Astrologer Mr. Sarathchandra who is supposed to have prepared this auspicious time has rejected this matter. He points out that he actually prepared the auspicious time as 11.17; but even 11.16 is equally auspicious and had said that the Prime Minister has taken his oaths at that auspicious time and also says that the 11.24 story is false.
