Mexican beauty ... winner of 2018 World Beauty Contest 

A Mexican model by the name of Vanessa Ponce de Leon claimed the 2018 World Beauty Queen crown in the final contest held in China. She happens to be a graduate in business management and is 26 years of age. Apart from being a model she is a volunteer in social service.

118 countries participated in this contest which was held for the 68th occasion. The contestant who

came second in the finals this time was the contestant from Thailand. Contestants from Belarus, Jamaica and Uganda came in the 5 last contestants. Nadia Gyi who represented Sri Lanka was not able to win in any event in the contest as such and neither was she fortunate enough to reach the last 30 contestants either.
