Fonseka calls Nalaka ... so it's he and Ranil who conspired assassination -- Namal
Conducting a media briefing in Amparai yesterday (5) Namal Kumara has said that the brainchild of the conspiracy of the President and former Defence Secretary are leader of UNP, Ranil Wickramasingha; Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka and Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundera. It is of special interest to note that Nalaka Kumara uses his evidence of confirming this story that he has listened to only telephone messages given frequently by Fonseka to Nalaka. On that occasion he further said, "around 16th this year I went to meet inspector general of police. He tells me ... 'how is
Namal, is he happy? this is one of my boys'. Nalaka Silva then comes there in civil uniform. He tells me, 'there's a present for you' and takes two cheques into his hands. Two and a half lakhs of cash is noted on both those cheques. It is the inspector general of police who himself who gives that letter to my hands. Journalists too take those photographs. Just then the inspector general of police grabs those two cheques from me. After that the inspector general of police tells me, 'stop all those things that you are going to do. He says 'don't make me a bad person!' I then smiled. Other than that I didn't say anything. Because I know whether he is a good or bad person.
What was done like that is the biggest happiness I gained because I came to know that the inspector general of police in this country too is involved in this process. What inspector general of police told me was, 'you have been handed over to Nalaka Silva. You can't keep connections with other police officers. He also tells me to immediately stop all those things that you are publishing in your facebook accounts. If you accede ... you will get money in the future also'.
After that once again I am given those two cheques and the inspector general of police tells me, 'those two cheques are in Nalaka Silva's name ... take the money from him'. Even before 24 hours elapsed after I made that revelation he makes an announcement, 'voice cuts of this information I exposed is suspicious'. What does he do? It is not to the Criminal Investigation Department that he hands over investigations in this connection ... but to a different unit. These are the issues. Politicians are seeking various ways to throw this incident under the carpet. Sarath Fonseka is making an uproar and so is Ranil.
I have spoken about these things for an year What Mr. Nalaka Silva told was that according to the constitution there is a law that even if the position of President changes, someone can be nominated by showing a majority in parliament. Who can take that position ... it's Ranil Wickremasingha. So if we play this game ... we win. I asked, what the plan for this is. Nalaka Silva then says, 'don't worry ... we have people with us. I then ask ... is it S.F? Why do I ask this? Even on the day that clash took place in Kandy in Teldeniya ... I was seated on the other side of Nalaka Silva ... in the police jeep. At that time also Sarath Fonseka is having a telephone conversation with Nalaka Silva. I was listening to that whole conversation.
Most of the things they spoke are saved in my phone. In that is the plan envisaged to dismiss the secretary of Sri Lanka Police Commission, Saman Dissanayaka from that post. I am collecting voice cuts of Colombo Western Province Deputy Inspector General of Police, Nandana Moonasingha, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Kalutara District, Kodituwakku; Latif, in charge of Special Task Force and Assistant Superintendent of Police, Prasanna Alwis".
