Drunk driver keeps on driving and kills 3 people at 2 points along the way!
Because of a car responsible for two accidents in Ratmalana and Mount Lavinia last night between 12 midnight and 1 in the morning, 3 persons lost their lives with 8 people sustaining injuries.
Both the above accidents had been committed by a drunken driver it is learned and one spot was near the IOC fuel station while the other was near Mount Lavinia courts, bot along Galle Road. The said car had been travelling from Colombo towards Galle and the first accident has occured near the IOC

In the second accident which happened near Mount Lavinia courts, one person has died and one other person has been wounded. The hapless car that collided this way had to incur severe damage in the second accident and the driver had been stuck inside the car with injuries.
8 persons received injuries from the accidents and were admitted to Kalubowila Hospital. However on admission 3 of them had passed away. The driver of this vehicle is under treatment at Kalubowila Hospital under police protection. The deceased are 18 year old Dilshan Kumara Edirisingha of 111 Puttalam Road, Pansulugama, Anuradhapura; 54 year old Mohommed Gauff Mohommed Rizwan living down 55/35, Pagnaloka Mawatha, Dehiwala and 21 year old Zappas Cader of 13/3, Perakumba Road, Dehiwala. It was revealed that the driver responsible for this accident had been under liquor at the moment of these accidents. Mount Lavinia police are conducting further investigations.
