Motion not to pay salaries to Ministers and related staff -- Hansard reports confirm Mahinda's defeat!

A crowd of parliament members have filed a motion asking that payments of salaries paid by the government to the group who are presently drawing salaries as the government party as well as their staff be stopped they are an illegal group. It has been stated therein that this group have no powers according to the no faith motion passed in parliament on 14th. Members of parliament, Rajitha Senaratna, Ravi Karunanayaka, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Arjuna Ranatunga, Mano Ganeshan and Jayampathy Wickremaratna, have placed their

signatures to this petition. In the meantime, the Hansard Report has already been printed and made public indicating that the government inclusive of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa were defeated at the parliamentary meeting held in parliament on the 14th.
