Mother faints after seeing 300 blue films robbed from her ...
in A/L student's phone, when caught by police
On an investigation conducted by police on a mobile phone in possession of an advanced level student of a madhya maha vidyalaya in Polonnaruwa, it was revealed that there were 300 blue films in the said phone. These blue films were detected when some members of the staff in the school had got the phone into their custody and when inspecting it.
When parents of the boy was summoned to school to inquire in this connection, the mother had
turned up. After the mother told the teachers "my son is very obedient ... he won't do things like this", the blue films in the phone were displayed. Immediately on viewing those scenes the mother has fainted and though much effort was taken to revive her, as it was in vain and ultimately she had been admitted to Polonnaruwa General Hospital. The nursing staff had in turn complained about this to the hospital police.
Later on after the said mother regained her consciousness and the police happened to question her, what was revealed was that the son has taken the blue films from her phone. Officers of hospital police has produced the student and the mother to a high officer of the police and had been set free after a thorough warning. The blue films and the memory chip had been taken into police custody.
