30 persons who conducted "Booka Booka"gala in Galkissa ... arrested

30 young boys and girls who engaged in various forms of narcotics on 19th night at a beach party behind a certain hotel in Galkissa were taken into custody, police say and police further say that among those apprehended are five girls. They were apprehended on a raid conducted on a joint operation conducted by police special task force and Gaalkissa police.

A large quantity of illegal drugs, marijuana, illegal cigarettes and a type of narcotic called 'Muddara' was taken into custody together with the arrested 30 persons. This party had been launched across

Facebook and was called "Booka Booka". A sum of Rs. two thousand five hundred was charged to participate in this get together while necessary facilities had been arranged to purchase various forms of narcotics, after entering, a police officer said.

The raid was conducted by officers of the police special task force and Galkissa police disguising themselves and thus gaining entrance to the party. Those arrested were produced before Galkissa court. Galkissa police are carrying out investigations.
