A former Minister who was also crowned as Mrs. World, Mrs. Rosy Senanayaka took her oaths yesterday (19) as the first Mayoress of the Colombo municipal council in the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Ranil Wickremasingha. Rest of the other related members chosen to the Colombo municipal council were sworn in, in the presence of

the Prime Minister at Temple Trees. According to the gazetted list, following are the mayors and chairmen of other municipal councils:
