Two families vie for the dead body of a bus businessman having seven children

A resident of Negombo had succumbed the day before yesterday the 25th instant after a heart attack.A news is reported from the Warakapola police that two wises have claimed the dead body.

The dead person is a resident of Katana area in Negombo a 62 year old father of seven children.

The dead person had been a reputed businessman and possess a number of private buses which ply on many routes according to police information.This businessman has initially married a woman from
Kochchikade area and had four children from this marraige.He had divorced the first wife in year 1990 and had subsequently married the second time to a woman in Katana area and from the second marriage he has three children.

This businessman had visited a relative in Alawwa area and suddenly had suffered a heart attach  and admitted to Warakapola base hospital but had succumbed on the 25th instant.

The first wife is presently in the Middle East doing a housemaid job.The four children from the first marraige had come to the Kegalle hospital and claimed the body from the inquirer into sudden deaths L Wimalasiri Rajapaksa when the body had been sent from the Warakapola hospital for the postmortem.

Subsequently the second wife with her three children had come to the Kegalle hospital and claimed the body.The inquirer into sudden deaths L Wimalasiri Rajapaksa had requested for the marraige certificate.

As it had been stated in the marraige certificate that the deceased is a divorcee the inquirer in sudden deaths after perusing the marraige  certificate had handed over the body the the legal second wife.The inquirer into sudden deaths had advised the second wife to allow the four children of the firat marraige to participate in the funeral proceedings.
