Olympic medalist Susanthika still in hospital, but recovering

The Olympic medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe who was admitted to the Diyatalawa base hospital the other day is still treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital is reported to be recovering fast.

Yet is is learnt that she would have to stay back in hospital for another five days or so but she should

be treated at the intensive care unit.She will not be transferred to a normal ward was what the Director of the hospital Dr Ranjith Amarakoon had quipped.

Dr Ranjith Amarakoon had said that she had come from Colombo as a training adviser to Diyatalawa having inflicted with dengue fever.As she was feeling faintness and unwell she had been admitted to the Diyatalawa hospital.
