Gemunu Etha swallows foreigners' dollars in Yala!

An elephant which crossed the path of a jeep in which foreigners were travelling in Yala and came to an abrupt halt had then put its trunk inside the jeep and scared everyone and in the process had
even grabbed a travelling bag and had swallowed it, as reported. 

There had been fruits, a bundle of dollar notes and camera accessories as well inside the bag.  'Gemunu Etha' whom everybody is familiar with is responsible for this misdemeanour, it was reported. The bundle of American notes which had been swallowed has been estimated to be Rs. 2 lakhs. The crowd travelling in the jeep were German tourists. They had reported this mishap to the German Consulate also.
