Dealer in Monkeys and Reptiles apprehended with 28 Parrots

It is reported that a person has been arrested for having illegally 28 parrots in a small cage.This person has been arrested by the officers of the Kuliyapitiya police following a tip off given to them via the police emergency number.

It is reliably learnt that this person had been engaged in a business in a livelihood of marketing

monkeys and reptiles while living in the Ja Ela area.The complaint had been made when the noise of parrot cries had been heard bu a neighbour who had called the police emergency number.
