To reply to President;s statement urgent meeting by Puravesi Balaya and Just society

It is reported that the statement made by the President Maithripala Sirisena on the day before yesterday the 12th instant at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute at the "Sathviru Sanhinda" ceremony had created a pandemonium situation in

the political world.

In order to express views on this statement  a special media briefing was held jointly by the Puravesi Balaya and the movement of the free and just society on the 14th instant..The media briefing was held today at 11 am at the social triangle in Maradana.

At the ceremony the President Maithripala Sirisena had said in anger that institutions connected to law and order are conducting affairs according to the political agenda but by bypassing him certain independent commissions are acting in a manner that make the war heroes to be embarrassed.
