Woman escapes from been raped when she had said she  is an  inflicted HIV patient

An incident is reported from Kuliyapitiya where a woman had escaped from been raped when she had told the assailant that she is a patient inflicted with the dangerous HIV decease.

She had been assisting a person who had been selling illicit kasippu caught and asked to a fine.She

had gone with a friend to a house in Makandura area in Pannala where a married person 30  years old had been living all alone.At that time this person had attempted to rape her by taking her to another house.

It had been found that this person was desperate to have sex with her.In order avoid been raped she had tactfully said she is person inflicted with Aids decease.The 30 year old person had bitten her vagina area causing slight injuries and fled.

After the incident was reported to the police she had been admitted to hospital.The suspect had been arrested and  was to be produced before the Kuliyapitiya magistrate Dammika Dissanayake

The officers in the child and women's unit at the Pannala police station are conducting investigations,
