Wimal's brother Sarath remanded till the 07th

The elder brother of Member of Parliament Wimal Weerawansa had been produced to courts by the officials of the Police Financial Frauds division after he was arrested.On the orders issued by courts he had been ordered to be

remanded until the 07th instant.

The charges framed against him was for misusing vehicles belonging to the presidential secretariat and the national housing developmental authority during the time of the Rajapaksa era.It is reported that he had been evading the FCID on a number of occasions and was arrested when he had arrived to answer to some queries.
