After the former Member of Parliament Duminda Silva was convicted and sentenced to death  yesterday he was imprisoned at the Welikada prison.

The following day morning itself it is reported that

Duminda Silva had played  cricket with the inmates.

For  all the inmates permission has been granted according to prison rules and laws, to come out of the cells everyday for a period of 30 minutes to perform physical exercises.

On the first day itself Duminda Silva  it is reported that  he had engaged in playing a game of cricket with those  convicted prisoners whom had known  earlier. during the half hour allocated to them.

It is reported that he had played the game of cricket with those inmates convicted and sentenced to death.
