Mahinda resigns from Premiership!

Mahinda Rajapaksa the imaginary Shadow Prime Minister who was made popular across the media among the public by the United Opposition yesterday has scrapped off the post so bestowed on him. Following on his footsteps Lohan Ratwatta the Minister for Town Planning and Water Supply too has

handed over his own papers to resign.

Shadow Prime Minister Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa had mentioned that this Shadow Cabinet has been created as a misunderstanding of theirs and that he is not aware of a Shadow Cabinet instituted yesterday by the United Opposition. In addition, Shadow Prime Minister Mahinda had revealed that what he instructed was not to establish a Shadow Cabinet but to name Members of Parliament for the purpose of carrying out a survey on the ministries. Therefore, Mahinda Rajapaksa has announced that he would be resigning from the said Shadow Cabinet and other affiliated positions of Minister for which he has been appointed. In the meantime, Lohan Ratwatta who has been bestowed the position of Town Planning and Water Supply of the Shadow Cabinet too has requested that he be scrapped off from the position of Minister.
