A list of 50 persons which has been named as a 'Shadow Cabinet' by the United Opposition with indicates Mahinda being endowed the role of Prime Minister with various others being given various positions in the capacity of Ministers being so distributed was announced to the media today. In

that instance apart from the position of Premiership being granted to Mahinda he has been bestowed the positions of Minister of Sambuddha Sasana, Religious Affairs and Minister of Defense too.

While Namal Rajapaksa would be Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chamal Rajapaksa has accepted the position of Minister of Transport and Aviation. The Minister of Finance is Bandula Gunawardena. The Minister of Environment happens to be Geetha Kumarasingha. In this manner, MPs being designated positions of Ministers without rhyme or reason has been criticised by supporters of the UNP across social website pages that naming them in that manner is just a stupid course of action launched by those of the United Opposition as a solution for their mental collapse. Whatever it is, the United Opposition has pointed out that what is expected through this action is only to appoint each representative to inquire into issues attached to each problem in a progressive way.
