Mahindananda Aluthgamage appointed as a member of COPE committee
It is reported that the Member of Parliament and the former Minister of sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage who is alleged to have committed corruption and bribery act during his tenure of the previous government has been strangely appointed as a member of
the COPE committee to investigate into acts of fraud and corruption.
