In Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces a power failure
This morning suddenly the power had been interrupted in Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
The cause of the power failure has been attributed to a defect in the old Lakshapana and new Lakshapana power plants. After a lapse of 50 minutes the authorities of the Ceylon Electricity board had restored the electricity back in a number of places.
