Sumith Manawadu expires

Major General Sumith Manawadu who was the other day was reported to have been injured when a plank from a building site of his had fallen on his head.

He was admitted to the national hospital where the doctors had performed two operations on him.It is reported that he had not recovered from the operations but succumbed to death.

He had served as the Ambassador to Malaysia during the era of the Rajapaksa regime.
