Nissanka Senadhipathi speaks about Panama Papers

Mr. Nissanka Senadhipathi the Chairman of Avant Garde as stated in Panama Papers has forwarded an announcement to the media yesterday (10) through his lawyer Mr. Nishan Premathiratna that he is prepared to hand over the sum of money in his account to whoever is able to prove that accounts exist

in his name.

It is further mentioned in the announcement forwarded by Mr. Nissanka Senadhipathi as follows. As reported in the media the referred to announcement shows that his client Mr. Nissanka Senadhipathi does not have any monies in Panama Accounts. In the same way his client requests the media to be cautious when reporting incidents of this nature. Mr. Senadhipathi's lawyer who points out that even before this Avant Garde was subject to baseless and  accusations of an apocryphal nature and that the manner in which that monies had been earned by such account-holders should be brought under special investigation.  In the same way, though names of other persons were stated in this Panama Papers, the said announcement mentions that a special importance has been given to Mr. Nissanka Senadhipathi's name and has been referred to in a derogatory manner and that his client is focusing his attention on this point. The lawyer also points out that Mr. Nissanka Senadhipathi is amazed over this revelation. It is also mentioned in the announcement issued by his lawyer that he believes an investigation could be conducted about people who are mentioned in these Papers.
