Mahinda's Uganda tour -- Breakfast at Cafe Ceylon

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who went to Uganda obtaining air tickets at the expense of the government has had to foot the bill for his meals at his own expense. Whatever it is, because of certain sponsors he was able to see to all that free of charge.

A project of developing a hydro-power reservoir of Uganda being successfully implemented in the country in fact belongs to a Sri Lankan by the name of Prabodha Sumanasekera. About 70 Sri Lankans are employed there and it is one Ruwan Perera who maintains its restaurant by the name of 'Cafe Ceylon'. Mahinda was present there on the 13th. On that occasion he was able to taste kiri bath, string hoppers and pol sambol for breakfast on invitation, as seen in the photographs below
