New traffic arrangement at Jayawardenapura and "Pittala" junction 

The Police traffic division has notified that a new traffic arrangement is to  commence at Sri Jayawardenapura, Pittala junction and Flower road for traffic moving out of  from Colombo from the

21st instant. The time duration for this arrangement would be in Jayawardenapura road from 5.pm  to 6.30 pm in the late afternoon.

From the Ayurveda junction to Nawala there would be three lanes, one of which would be those who travel to Nawala road and beyond.

The road that leads from Royal park towards Battaramulla would also have three lanes. Those who wish to turn off from Battaramulla should travel in a separate lane.From the Pittala junction to Flower road vehicles would be allowed only between 4.30 pm and 6.30 p.m.
