Water cut around Colombo for 18 hours tomorrow and day after tomorrow

The National water supply and drainage Board has made an announcement that some areas in and around Colombo that there would be an interruption of the supply of water from 11 A.m. tomorrow to 5 a.m on day after tomorrow, Sunday the 29th instant.

The areas to be affected are Colombo, Dehiwala, Mt.Lavinia, Kotte and Kaduwela  Municipal council areas, Mharagama, Borelesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Municipal council areas and Kotikawatta and Mulleriyawa  pradeshiya sabha areas.

The National water supply and Drainage Board officials had informed that this water cut is made to attend to some urgent repairs to the Ambatale water purification plant.
