Stop arresting of war 'heroes' plea from Mahinda

Speaking at a ceremony held at a temple in Tangalle the former President Mahinda Rajapkasa had cautioned the government not to act according to the new law enacted to arrest persons under the

terrorist prevention law.It is likely that war 'heroes' could betaken into custody under this new law.

The LTTE suspects  held in custody are been released and at the same time a programme has commenced  by the government to arrest the war 'heroes'. He had added and made a plea not to act in that manner.
