Lost Candidates Eric, Shantha and Jagath given new posts

For three provinces  new  Presidential project directors have been appointed .The new project director positions have been awarded three

candidates for the Central, Wayamba and Uva provinces who had lost in the general election.

The Posts have been awarded to Eric Weerawardena, Shantha Bandara and Jagath Pushpakumara for the Central , Wayamba and Uva provinces respectively. All of them had been Members of Parliament in the previous government had failed to win seats in the present parliament at the last general election having contested under the United Peoples Freedom Alliance party..
