Chula's final rites today (02) evening - A bouquet of flowers to the body from the businessman boyfriend (video)

The body of the deceased famous model Ms. Chula Padmendra has been placed at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour in Borella for public respect, and her final rites are scheduled to be held this afternoon (02). The 45-year-old single mother, who resided in Boralesgamuwa, was found dead on a bed in a businessman's house located on Gangaramaya Road, Thumbolila, Piliyandala, on the 31st of last month.

It was noteworthy that during today's funeral proceedings, the businessman, who is said to be connected to politics, also brought a large bouquet of flowers and expressed his condolences emotionally in front of her.

According to police investigations, the deceased model had attended an event organized at Waters Edge, Battaramulla, and thereafter arrived at the businessman's house in Piliyandala with him around 5:00 AM on that day. It is stated that she later went to sleep in a room there.

Around 12:45 PM on that day, attempts were made to wake her, but as there was no response, the 1990 Suwasariya ambulance service was called. After examination by the health workers who arrived, it was confirmed that she had passed away. A bloodstain was also observed on the bedsheet where she was sleeping, so the businessman filed a complaint with the Piliyandala Police regarding the matter. Chula's mother also went to the police with the businessman to file the complaint. The manner of death has not yet been disclosed.

It was announced yesterday (01) that an open verdict has been given regarding this sudden death, and it was stated that no internal or external injuries were identified on her body, and further investigations are required. Piliyandala Police are continuing their investigations to uncover further details related to the incident.
