Mahinda speaks on the "spirit fortress" in the President's house



The former President Mahinda Rajapaksa answering to the question of the existence of a "Spirit Palace" inside the President's house had denied the existence of such a palace and had quoted it as a
bunker for the high officials of the government to have secret meetings during the time of the terrorist terror.

This was added when he addressed at a media briefing following meeting participated by a group of intellectuals at the Abeyarama Temple in Narahenpita on the 25th instant.He had reiterated that at the time of the ethnic war a necessity had arisen for such a bunker for security reasons and hence it was constructed.
