"Kondaya" very quiet in prison,he is given security to evade punishments from fellow prisoners 

Dunesh Priyashantha alias "Kondaya" who is a suspect in the rape and murder of Seya Sadewmi of Kotadeniyawa who was remanded and produced before Minuwangoda Chief Magistrate DA.Ruwanpathirana of the Minuwangoda

Magistrate courts has been ordered to be further remanded until the 5th October. This order had been given on the 26th instant.

Accordingly he has been remanded at the Negombo prison. It is reported that he has been given severe protection from the other prisoners.

The prison authorities had revealed that he has been given maximum security and has been isolated from the other prisoners as they are fuming with his action of raping and murdering the five year old Seya Sadewmi.The prison officials are having a suspicion that he may be even killed by the fellow prisoners.

It is reported that "Kondaya" is very quiet within the prison and the other prisoners to get a glimpse of him are walking about to near to his cell.
