When the Maldivian President was returning from Mecca an explosion in the boat

When the present Maldivian President Yamin Abdul Gayoom and his wife with his officials were travelling in a high speed boat there had

been an explosion. His wife and two officials had been injured.But the President Gayoom had escaped from been injured.

The President after worshipping the holy Mecca with his wife had returned only today. After landing at the airport the President to arrive at his mansion which is situated in another Island need to travel in a boat. This explosion has been reported during his journey by boat.

Investigations are been carried out to find out whether it had been act of sabotage.
