Usually what is seen during a protest is carrying posters and yelling for the demands or for the

purpose for which the protest has been organised. The main weapon is usually the voices of the protestors.However by the movements of the hands during a protest is not rare.

But making a protest lifting and kicking a leg is a rare occurrence that was seen. This young woman while participating in a protest which is shown in the photograph was lifting her leg in the annual event of the women prisoners on account of the International day allocated for women prisoners d felicitation day organised by the women prisoners rights protection committee. This protest was made in front of the Welikada prison yesterday the 10th instant.
