To make the country vote for an ‘animal’ Chandrika

Former president Chandrika Kumaratunga speaking at a meeting in the Embilipitiya area had this to say:

Now my party and our party have embraced a garbage dump and have stay with them.It is true that Maithripala Sirisena is the President. But he has himself become helpless without a  proper solution.

In the last regime there were many who were indulged in irregular activities and among the rest there were genuine politicians too. They had clear and good principles. But all are in one unit together.

Hence in this contest it is not prudent to cast the votes to the ‘beetle’ leaf or the ‘hand’ symbol. It is the best thing to cast the vote to an ‘animal’.
