ABOUT AKSHA SUDARI'S INDIAN LOVER!

Menaka Madhuwanthi a tele-actress herself was questioned because she maintained a close

relationship with Aksha Sudari who was interrogated by the police over the issue of the transaction where she is alleged to have cheated him on a monetary deal after having got intimate with him in the recent past.

Menaka subsequently has revealed about this connection with the Indian lover.

* Is it true that you were brought before the CID?

  It was first of all about a month before this that I was called by the CID. What they said was that they wanted to get information about a monetary fraud committed by Aksha. But at the start I evaded them.

* Why was Menaka questioned on what Aksha did?

  The newspapers mentioned a short time before no that I and Aksha were good friends. A lot of people spoke about our friendship .... it became news. It was because of that that they thought I know details about what Aksha did.

* Then why did you fight shy of the police?

  Now it's about an year since the cordial relationships between I and Aksha came to a close. I didn't want to go to the police on behalf of a person with whom I had no friendship.

* What broke of hat friendship?

  It was because of a personal matter that the issue cropped up. Actually it was something that Aksha did. It was because of that incident that a big talk went around that we fought among us. Really .... because of those incidents I crashed mentally. It greatly affected my professional work. It was because of that that I started a shop of my own and left my field.

* If there wan't a friendship you could have told what you know .... didn't you?

  I really didn't want to make myself and Aksha become a centre of the subject. Because of that I didn't want to talk about this incident or bring it into the news.

* So anyway ultimately Menaka went to the CID?

  I went and replied truly to everything which was asked from me. Not that I told the things I knew to put Aksha into inconvenience. What I wanted was to get away from this issue. I don't want to get involved in problems once again and suffer.

* Menaka .... did you know about this connection that Aksha is talking about?

  That attachment was there even during the time that we were friends .... but all those happenings were after our friendship broke up. I told the police about it. I told the police that our friendship broke off about an year ago.

* Are these problems because because Aksha's friendship was not genuine?

  Actually ... in the friendship between us, Aksha was not genuine. I had problems because of her even in my personal life. I thought of going to the police about the incident in connection with Aksha

for the purpose of letting know everybody that there is no friendship between the two of us.

 That is because the person who would come to marry me someday would measure me with the same yardstick. Someone may think that I saved my own skin. But what I did was not save my own skin. I only said what I knew. I don't want to say what I said, one by one. The only thing I want to say is that I kept a distance from Aksha before those things happened.

* Menaka .... won't you come back to the field?

  Of course there are invitations. But I have given prominence now to my business because I want to develop my business. Because of late I am getting a good response.
