Ballot boxes transported to Maduwa island by boat service

In Balapitiya the bridge to Maduwa island is in a decapitated state. To avoid the risk of traveling along the bridge the prudent decision had been taken by the election officers to take the ballot boxes carefully via boats.

It is reported that the Maduwa village is thickly populated.
