Vehicle driven by a lady driver run over two motor cycles and had crashed into a pharmacy killing one

In the Mirigama Kaleliya area the other day a vehicle driven by a lady driver had run over two motor cycles and crashed into a pharmacy causing on death and huge damages.

A person who was coming out of the pharmacy at that moment had been seriously injured and had succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the hospital.

The deceased person is a resident of Hapitigama a 42 year old father of one child.He has been identified as Janaka Jayakody.

The deceased had come to the pharmacy ro purchase medicine for his mother when he faced with this unfortunate accident. The two motor bikes that were parked also had been damaged.

The lady driver had been taken into custody while the Mirigama police personnel are conducting investigations.
