News was heard about a love affair involved with the murder of popular ruggerite Wasim

Thajudeen whose body was exhumed last week which in fact created some sensation. Among names coined with it was former President Mahinda Raapakda's son Yoshitha as well as Yasara Abeynayaka who was for sometime the lover of the former, it was said.

The Daily Mirror Newspaper who contacted her to see the response she would make about it were to hear a number of matters from her which have hitherto not been disclosed. Yasara incidentally happens to be a daughter of well-known tele-drama creator Ananda Abeynayaka while her mother is Dr. Thanuja Abeynayaka. Yasara's mother's father is Late Film Sakvithi Gamini Fonseka.

During the past regime Yasara was in charge of CSN Channel for a short time and when her affair with Yoshitha broke off she went for overseas service related to the Australian Consulate and when the Maithri Government was established a number of overseas appointments were removed when she had to say goodbye to that job too and finally return to Sri Lanka. When the Daily Mirror inquired from her about Wasim Thajudeen, this is what she said:

                                            "I don't  even know Thajudeen. I have never even spoken to him. Actually that gossip was spread in the year 2012 by a website operating at that time by the name of 'Lanka Leaks'. That news was an absolute lie. That story spread like wild fire at that time. I don't know why such a thing was woven around a person whom I even don't know. Some stories circulated around that the reason for me to accept the job in Australia was this very factor. On the other hand some stories circulated that the reason for the romance between I and Yoshitha to fall apart was the death of Thajudeen. That didn't happen because of a Thajudeen whom I didn't know. The attachment between the two of us really broke off because our horoscopes did not match. The Rajapaksa Family relies on horoscopes a great deal. As such because of this incompatibility this affair had to be broken. That separation took place in the same way that a common love affair would break up. But unfortunately people in Sri Lanka used it for their own 'business'. All these were spread only by certain gossip websites. Though I wanted to talk the truth about this, most people advised me that it's not necessary to talk to those gossip websites .... that it was something that has no foundation.

Actually, so far I have not been involved with any police investigation as such either. If Thajudeen has spoken to me, at least from those phone numbers I could have been cordoned no. Such a thing has so far not happened. Actually, because of these stories I even can't go anywhere. Various people are asking various things. Unbelievable stories have spread about someone with whom I had never spoken. Anyway in future the investigation results would come to light .... then everybody will come to know the truth".
