NAME OF ACTRESS WHO KILLED TELE - ACTOR .... REVEALED
The identity of the tele-drama actress who was taken into custody under suspicion in Bogahamadiththa area, Hali Ela in connection
with the murder of tele-drama actor Indika Ratnayaka at a restaurant in Maharagama recently, has been revealed. It is revealed that she is a 24 year old girl named Ireshika Thilini Amarasingha hailing from Ambasevanagama, Kengalla in Kandy. Ireshika who appeared as a model and an amateur tele-actress is connected to the drug-business, it was revealed to the police.
At the moment she was taken into custody the police has said that a quantity of 100 milligrams of heroin was found inside her handbag. She was arrested last 2nd in a hotel in Bogahamadiththa area while she was in the company of another male. This male Pathirana Aarachchige Nalinda Sampath (35) living in 5th milepost, Uduwara, Hali Ela too is connected to the murder, the police say. It is understood that this suspect has 13 warrants against him for a number of complaints including housebreaking in Badulla, Bandaraela and Welimada areas as well as keeping live handbombs in his possession.
Steps have been taken to produce these suspects in courts. Badulla Police are carrying out further inquiries under instructions of Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Uva Province, Mr. Roshan Fernando.
