Tony Ranasinghe at the time of his demise was in upset mood - Ranil

During the period of the previous government Tony

Ranasinghe had submitted a script of a film written by him that was to be produced to the Film Corporation for approval. The script of the film had not been passed by the related authorities of the film corporation for production of a film.

But after the new government came into power this film script had obtained the required approval and provisions for the film were in the process of been approved. Hence Tony Ranasinghe had been in an upset mood during the time before his demise. This was said in the message of condolence sent by the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe. Hence he had said this was a sad situation.
