Our figures went wrong, 108 are against Ranil not 112-Manusha

Member of Parliament Manusha Nanayakkara speaking to the BBC ‘Sandeshaya’ Sinhala programme on the 15th

instant had added that two Members of Parliament had signed twice and also as the numbers had overlapped twice. Hence the number of Members of Parliament who had signed for the no confidence against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe which was said as 112 has now been confirmed as 108.

Speaking to the Sinhala BBC ‘Sandeshaya’ Member of Parliament, Manusha Nanayakkara had added that two Members through oversight not knowingly had signed the no confidence motion twice. It had also been said that sequence of numbers too had jumped twice. Hence the accurate count has become 108 from the earlier 112.

Manusha Nanayakkara also had said that as there were some pressures the signatures were obtained very confidentially. In this process these mistakes had taken place he had informed to the BBC Sandeshaya authorities .
