Mahinda is certain to contest from SLFP or from another party

The coordinating secretary of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, Rohan Weliwita had said that the former president will contest

definitely for the forthcoming general election. In the event he is not given nominations from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party he would get nominations from another party which would be disclosed later.

However Mahinda Rajapaksa’s intention is to contest from the SLFP,the coordinating secretary had quipped.
