Former Indian President Kalam meets President Maithripala

Former Indian President Dr Abdul Kalam had visited Sri Lanka on a three day visit. This morning the 26th instant he had called on President Maithripala Sirisena at the presidential secretariat.

Former President of India Dr Abdul Kalam had been very warmly received by our president and has had cordial talks.

Dr Kalam had visited Sri Lanka on the invitation of the Minister of power and energy Patali Champika Ranawaka. Dr Kalam had been accompanied by the high commissioner of India in Sri Lanka Y.K.Singha.
