For family refuge houses case Wimal to CID

The former Minister of housing, construction, engineering services and public amenities Wimal

Weerawansa has been summoned to obtain a statement on the case of family refuge wherein he has estimated luxury houses in housing projects worth millions at very lower scales. These low estimated housed had been legally sold to his relatives.

This had been revealed by the Ocean View Company to the criminal investigation unit. Accordingly it it is learnt that the former Minister Wimal Weerawansa had arrived at the Colombo criminal investigation unit to give a statement.
